Byzantium Angel

There were Byzantine angels carved into the cornices of my studio in the Troodos Mountains in Cyprus. I was thinking about W.B.Yeats', 'Sailing to Byzantium' , but perhaps the influence came from those carvings, in Ayios Ioannis.
